   甲骨文象人在屋中躬身迎宾之形。篆书加“贝”表示客人来时还带有礼物b。《说文》注:“所敬也。从宀,从贝,频声。” 宾指主人所尊敬之宾客。与“主”相对。语法中则有宾语。
