《汉字解码学》4、形声组字法。形声组字法,就是採用象形符号、指事符号与声音符号合在一起,组成新的汉字。声音符号不是拼音文字,而是利用象形字、指事字或会意字所标注的声音,与其它字形合组,构建形声字。来源于象形字的声符,如口、心、衣等;来源于指事字的声符,如刃、本、包等;来源于会意字的声符,如朋、旦、安等。
使用声符与其它三种符号合组构成形声字具有三大优点:一是它有表声成分;二是它的造字方法简单;三是灵活机动。例如:
1 形声字的形符,在另一些字里也可用作声符。例如山字在峰、屿、岩、岖诸字中是这些字的形符。反之,在汕、疝、仙、氙、讪等字中,它又是作声符使用。
2 原有的形声字,还可以再用作声符与别的字共组成新的形声字,例如“召”是由形符口字与声符刀字组成,召字又可与其它字结合组成诏、绍、苕、迢 岧等形声字。
3 同样的形符和声符,还可以通过部位的变换,产生新的形声字。例如吟与含;纹与紊;部与陪;架与枷等等。
4 形声字的声符也不像拼音文字一样,只是单纯的表音,其中有相当一部分含有表意的成分,从而使形、声、意有机组合,出现了汉字生动活泼的表达形式。例如“无字”下部加两只足,就是舞蹈的“舞”(“无”字本身就是人跳舞的原形)。
无 [無] 甲骨文“无”是舞之本字。后转注为无有之无。《说文》注:“亡也。从亡,无声。”“无”义指亡失、没有,与“有”相对。作副词,表示否定,相当于“不”。作连词,表示条件,相当于“无论”“不论”。

舞 甲骨文象人手执条形饰物,双脚起舞之形。会意跳舞、舞动。《说文》注:“乐也。用足相背。从舛,无声。”“古文舞从羽亡。”卜辞指求雨祭祀之舞。舞义为舞蹈。引申挥动、飞翔、玩弄、耍弄、舞弊等。

“无”字上部加“草”,是指因战争或天灾造成的田园荒芜的“芜”。
芜 芜是形声字。草为形符;无为声符。《说文》注:“秽也。从草,无声。”芜指野草丛生,田园荒废。引申繁杂。

“无”字加女旁,就是女子形态妩的“妩”。
妩 妩是形声字,也是会意字。象女子舞蹈之形。女为形符;无亦声亦义。《说文》注:“媚也。从女,无声。”妩义为娇媚、美好。

形声字的组合为汉字的发展开拓了一条广阔的道路,以至于近代科学发展创新上的许多字以及化学元素周期表,我们都可以轻而易举地创造出许多新的汉字来。《解码学中文》中部分新创写的篆书字,就是利用形声组字法创写出来的。
