我家的小鎮 My Town  

我住在小鎮，那離城裡不遠。	I live in a town. It’s near a city.
它是個很美的村鎮。	It’s a beautiful town.
有一條小河，它從我家的房後面流過。	There is a small river. It flows over behind my house.
傍晚我喜歡沿着它散步。	I like to take a walk along it in the evening.
街道不算寬，但都乾淨。	The streets are not wide, but they are clean.
有一個公園，孩子們喜歡在那玩。	There is a park. Children like to play there.
有間小學在村鎮中心。我小時就在那讀書。	There is a primary school in the centre town. I had been there when I was young.
有許多商店，賣食品、衣服和圖書等等。	There are many shops. They sold food, clothes, books etc.
只有一個郵局。	There is only one post office.
人們去那寄信和包裹。	People visit it to post the letters and parcels.
還有一個銀行。有時我會去那。	There is also a bank. Some times I visit it.
有一間小醫院，那裡日夜都能看病。	A small hospital serves us. It’s open day and night.
鎮裡有個教會，不少人星期天早上去那裡。	There is a church. Many people visit it on Sunday mornings.
以前我乘巴士去市區讀中學。	I had taken a bus to a secondary school in the city.
現在我每天開車去城裡工作。	I drive my car to city for work every day now.
有時周末我們一家人開車去市區。	Sometimes I drive with my family to city at weekend.
那有許多餐館。我太太喜歡吃那裡的中國菜。	There are many restaurants there. My wife likes tasting Chinese food there.

我的一家 My Family ( Picture Questions)

看，這是我的一家四口，我的父母、哥哥和我。	Look, this is my family with four. There are my parents, my brother and I.
你父親在哪？	Where is your father?
他正在他的農場工作。	He’s working on his farm.
你母親哪？	Where is your mother?

新玩具 New Toy

早上好，媽媽.。	Good morning, mum.
你這麼早起床？一定是想着你的新玩具，對不？	Why you got up so early? I see, you miss your new toy, aren’t you?
嘿嘿。	Laughter.
先去吃早餐。不要吵醒妹 妹。	Go to have your breakfast first. Don’t make your sister getting up early, too.
是不是吃完就可以玩了？	After my breakfast whether do I play my toy?
可以玩一會。等妹妹醒了你要練習鋼琴，知道嗎？	Play a while. You know you shall practice piano when your sister wakes up.

你不該睡這麼晚。要養成早睡早起的好習慣。	You shouldn’t stay up so late. It’s better going bed early and getting up early too.
我知道，但下周有考試。	I understand, but I’ll have a test next week.
順便問一下，你早餐想吃點什麼，煎雞蛋、土司、麥片和牛奶？	What do you want to have for breakfast, by the way? We have some eggs, toast, cereal and milk.
我只要麥片加奶。	Only cereal and milk.

己是12月，聖誕節快到了。	It’s already December. Christmas is in the air!
