上周末我患了重感冒，而且還發燒。	I had a bad cold and fever the weekend.
有沒有看醫生？	Have you seen a doctor?
沒有，我沒辨法出去，整天我都覺得頭暈。	No. I couldn’t go out. I felt dizzy all day long.
為什麼不打電話給我？	Why didn’t you call me?
我怕佔用你的時間。	I was afraid to take you time.

你覺得冷嗎？	Do you feel cold?
是，我覺得冷。	Yes, I do.

沒有，我完全沒有咳嗽。	No, I haven’t coughed at all.
你只是感冒。回去按時服藥，多喝水，注意休息。	You got a cold. Taking medicine on time and drink more water when you get home, and have a good rest.

流感 Flu

我有發燒而且頭痛，以至全身都酸痛。	I’ve got a temperature and headache. It’s terrible…I’m aching all over.

從上周，症狀一直沒減輕。	Since the beginning of last week, the symptoms just won’t go away.
我先給你測下體溫。	I’ll take your temperature now.

腸胃炎 Intestinal And Stomach Trouble

你好，劉先生。怎麼不舒服？	Hello, Mr Liu. How are you feeling?
很難受，胃痛，我吐了很多，而且還瀉。	Not too good. I’ve got these terrible pains in my stomach. I’ve been vomiting a lot and I’ve got diarrhoeas too.
這狀況多久了？	How long have you been like this?
從昨晚大約10點鐘。晚飯我吃的外買。一小時後就開始胃痛了。	It started last night at about 10 o’clock. We had takeaways for dinner, and I felt sick about an hour or so later.
看來你是食物中毒。先打一針止吐和止瀉，然後你按處方拿葯。其中有粉狀的葯，要加水服用。盡量多喝水。	I think you’ve got food poisoning. I’ll give you an injection to stop the vomiting and diarrhoea, and a prescription for some special powder. You mix it with water. Drink much of it as you want.
我可以吃東西嗎？	Shall I try to eat anything?
要等你感到好一些再進食。	Only if you start to feel better in a day or so.

麻疹 Measles

請進。你好，李太太。這孩子怎麼了？	Come in, Mrs Li. Hello. What is the matter with the child?
約翰的胸前和肚子上今早發現有紅疹，可現在已蔓延到全身。	It’s John, my son. He wore up this morning with a rash on his chest and stomach, and it’s spreading all over his body.
是，他看上去很難受，打開他的上衣我看看。這肯定是麻疹。	Yes, he looks miserable. Take off his shirt and show me the rash. Mmm, that’s definitely measles.
他感到很痒。	He feels very itchy.
是這樣。我給他開些藥水，一天涂三次，可減少痛痒。	Yes. I’ll give you a prescription for some lotion. Apply it three times daily. It should make his skin less itchy and sore.
應該怎樣照料他更好？	It there anything else I can do?
沒什麼特別，最好讓他休息，別接觸其他孩子。他小時候打過預防針嗎？	Not really. Just keep him in bed and away from other children. Did he have an injection for prevention when he was a baby?
打過了。	Yes. He did.
那好。他很快會好的。還要些止痛、退燒葯嗎？	Well, in that case he should get over them quite soon. Do you need some Panadol for the pain and fever?

噢，他叫李明。他的腿剛剛做了接骨手術。	Oh, his name is Li Ming. He just had an operation to join his bones on his leg.
