头 甲骨文象人头形。篆书以“页”为形符,页即头与首,“豆”为声符。《说文》注:“首也。从页,豆声。”头指人或动物之头部,借指物体之顶端。顶端与末端相对而存在,故头与“尾”相对。头字初义为人之最上处,故凡最上者、第一者皆可称头。引申指首领、首先、开端或终点。头又指方面,或某些东西之残存部分。作量词,用于牛、驴、猪等之个数。
