猪是形，豕嘴齐又平，
“豕”加“肉”符就叫“豚”。
两手牵“豕”称“豢”养，
“豕”加“高”字“豪”气存。

豕 甲骨文象猪只之形。《说文》注：“豕，彘也。竭其尾，故谓之豕。象毛足而后有尾。”豕即猪。豕怒而举其尾。上头一横指的是猪头。左四笔是四条腿。身后有翘举之尾。
