香 甲骨文以禾、口表示以嘴咀咬食物,上有几个点,表示食物散发之香味。《说文》注:“芳也。从黍,从甘。《春秋传》曰:黍稷馨香。”香即气味芬芳味美。与“臭”相对。凡有浓郁香味之物皆曰香。
