光     甲骨文象人头上有火光闪耀之形，会意光明。《说文》注：“明也。从火，在人上，光明意也。”光即明亮，又指光线，指太阳、火、电之光，亦指核爆炸等放射照亮物体之物质。引申时光、景物、光滑、光耀、光彩、显贵等。作形容词，指净、尽。
